As of 16 October 2026, there's a block party at Fishtales every Sunday evening through 27 December, and Light Up the Galt is on 12 November.

Sunday at Fishtales

The NoBe Sunday Block Party is at Fishtales On 33rd, 3355 NE 33rd Street, every Sunday evening from 4 October 2026 through 27 December 2026. The city's event listing has the details.

NE 33rd Street is just off A1A at the south end of the mile. For dinner before or after, the restaurants on the mile and just north are on where to eat.

Light Up the Galt

It's on Thursday 12 November 2026, 5:30–8:30 p.m., at North Beach Restaurants and Shoppes, where NE 33rd Avenue meets NE 33rd Street. It runs together with Fort Lauderdale Parks and Recreation's Light Up the Holidays, so expect a holiday pop-up gift market and activities from local businesses.

Aruba this week

Aruba Beach Cafe is at 1 Commercial Boulevard in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, and the number is (954) 776-0001. There's live music seven days a week, plus happy hour, drink specials and Sunday breakfast.

For 10–16 October 2026, Aruba's specials on X were half-off drinks and small plates on Friday from 4–7pm, $5 house margaritas with Cabo fish tacos, and bottomless mimosas. Those were that week's deals, not a permanent menu.

Bamboo hours

Bamboo Beach Tiki Bar & Cafe is at 4040 Galt Ocean Drive, on the beach side of Ocean Manor, and it's open to the public, not just hotel guests. Hours are Sunday–Thursday 7:00 AM–2:00 AM and Friday–Saturday 7:00 AM–3:00 AM, and happy hour is Monday–Friday 4:00 PM–7:00 PM.

Blue Jean Blues

Blue Jean Blues, at 3320 NE 33rd Street on the same street as Fishtales, runs a Friday outdoor concert series from November through April.
