Here are the nine hotels on the mile and in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, plus the bars and restaurants near them.

March through mid-April

Spring break on the mile runs March through mid-April, and that's when Ocean Manor Beach Resort gets its spring breakers. The resort is at 4040 Galt Ocean Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308; you can call (954) 566-7500 or go to oceanmanor.com.

The central beach, south of Oakland Park Boulevard, has a spring break strip of its own. Up here, the mile means Galt Ocean Drive, North Ocean Boulevard, and El Mar Drive up through Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Nine hotels

Ocean Manor is the one known for spring breakers. The other eight make up the rest of the rooms on this stretch of sand and in the next town north. All nine are in hotels on the mile, and dinner you can walk to is on where to eat.

Which street to give a car

Galt Ocean Drive is the beach street, and North Ocean Boulevard is A1A, one block west. In Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, the beach street is El Mar Drive. An address on one of these streets won't get you to the others.

Give your driver the street that's on your reservation. Ocean Manor and Ocean Sky are on Galt Ocean Drive; Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, Ocean Beach Club, Ocean Mile Hotel, and the Garden are on N Ocean Blvd; and Plunge, the Elmar, and the Sea Lord are on El Mar Drive. Get the street wrong and you'll end up a block from the door.

Bamboo Beach Tiki Bar

Bamboo Beach Tiki Bar & Cafe is at 4040 Galt Ocean Drive, on the beach side of Ocean Manor, and it's open to the public. Hours are 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM Sunday through Thursday and 7:00 AM to 3:00 AM Friday and Saturday, and happy hour is Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

As of April 2026, the bar had tables out on the beach. It's online at bamboobeachtikibar.com and on Instagram as bamboobeachtikibar.fl.

Casa Calabria

Casa Calabria is in the same building at 4040 Galt Ocean Drive, and dinner there is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday; it's closed Monday. Happy hour is Tuesday through Friday from 5 to 7, and there's live music Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 7 to 10 and Friday and Saturday from 8 to 11.

Aruba Beach Cafe

Aruba Beach Cafe is at 1 Commercial Boulevard in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, and the number is (954) 776-0001. There's live music seven days a week, plus happy hour, drink specials, and Sunday breakfast. You'll find it at arubabeachcafe.com and on Instagram as arubabeachcafelbts.

In the week of 10 to 16 October 2026, Aruba's specials on X were half-off drinks and small plates on Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, house margaritas with Cabo fish tacos, and bottomless mimosas. Those were that week's deals, not a standing menu.

Fishtales, Sunday evening

Fishtales On 33rd, also called Fishtales Bar & Grill, is at 3355 NE 33rd Street, and the NoBe Sunday Block Party happens there every Sunday evening from 4 October 2026 through 27 December 2026.

The bar's Instagram, @fishtaleson33rd, goes quiet after 2019, so don't plan from it. For current dates, check the city's NoBe Sunday Block Party calendar.

Blue Jean Blues

Blue Jean Blues is at 3320 NE 33rd Street, on the same street as Fishtales, and it has a Friday outdoor series. Check with the bar for set times.
