How local search works here
Two kinds of search.
Neighbors search two ways, by place and by service, and your business needs to show up for both. If you run a shop, office or restaurant on the mile, on A1A or in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, the audit below is for you.
Searches that name the place
Think "Galt Mile," "Galt Ocean Drive," "Galt Ocean Marketplace," "Fort Lauderdale beach," "Lauderdale-by-the-Sea," "A1A" or "33308." These searches are about where something is.
Searches that name a service
Someone needs a grocery, a pharmacy, a dentist, a restaurant or a salon. They add "Galt Mile" or "Fort Lauderdale beach," or just search from a phone that's already on A1A. The business that comes up is the one whose page states the service, the hours and the address the same way everywhere.

How long until my business shows up better in local search?
Fixes to your Google Business Profile and your own site can show within weeks. Reviews and neighborhood content build over months. We tell you which is which before we start.
Do I need a new website?
Usually not. Most businesses need one strong location page that names the service, the street and the landmark, with correct schema markup. We work with the site you have.
Why does it matter whether I say Galt Ocean Drive or North Ocean Boulevard?
They are different streets a block apart. If your listing, your sign and your site disagree, search engines trust the listing less and customers walk to the wrong door.
What does the free audit include?
A check of your Google Business Profile, your location page, your name, address and phone across the web, and how you rank for the searches your neighbors make. You get a short written list of fixes.
